Novels, Chocolates and Cocktails - A Girl's Best Friends
Well, at least they're mine. Over the past two days, I completed 3 novels. And Heavens, that was utterly exhilarating and extremely satisfying. Nothing beats curling up in my comfy bed, with a box of chocolates lying atop my covers, a champagne flute in one hand and a good old novel in the other. Now that, is what I call indulgence. I seriously ought to try that someday, but there're always elements missing; some of the time, the chocolates and all the time, the champagne.
It's time for another trip down to the library. I've seriously exhausted my supply of books. Two days ago, Doris and I went to Tampines Library and I hauled home two hardcovers and two paperbacks. Now, I'm with only one novel un-read (is there such a word?). I think I must be losing my mind. I crave for books like an addict craves for drugs. Heavens.
No matter, I'm still making a trip down to the library. Aye, it is time.
